Silk Dupion Grey Blazer
Our Silk Dupion sports blazer is hand made in our studio in Cork. We wanted to create an athleisure wear sports blazer that was a diverse piece within your wardrobe and would work with different types of leggings and shorts.
We choose Silk Dupion because it is a biodegradable material and has an exceptionally luxurious finish. It is a plain weave crisp type of silk fabric, produced by using fine thread in the wrap and uneven thread reeled from two or more entangled cocoons in the weft. This creates tightly woven yardage with a highly lustrous surface.
At YAWUW, we only work with 100% Organic, recycled or dead-stock materials. All of our fabrics are certified with a Oeko Tex, Circular Fabric Standard ( CFS ) or has a Global Recycled Standard ( GRS ) stamp of approval and all of our products are ethically produced.

Production:
- This blazer is Made-to-Order, meaning that we don't hold stock and we make every order from scratch
- It takes 2-3 weeks to be completed and will be posted to you directly - postage is free on this order
- This blazer is dry clean only. We do not recommend sending it to the dry cleaners unless there is a stain or an excess odour
- Made in our studio in Cork, Ireland by our award winning Master Tailor and Head of Design, Angela O'Donnell
